INGREDIENTS
Toor dal/thuvara parippu-handful
Raw mango/Pacha Manga-1 (depends up on the sourness )
Grated coconut-1/4 of 1
Turmeric powder-less than 1/4tsp
Chilli powder-1/4tsp
Green chilli-1
Curry leaves-1 string
Salt- to taste
Coconut oil-1tbsp
Mustard seeds-1/4tsp
Dry red chilli-1
Water-1 1/2 cup
METHOD
Wash dal and pressure cook along with salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder and water ..
2 whistle is enough .. After 5 minutes open the cooker and add peeled and cut medium size mango pieces ..
In between grind coconut by adding small amount of water , into very fine paste and keep aside ..
Cook again for 1 whistle ..Open the cooker soon after the whistle ..Otherwise mango pieces will be over cooked ..
Now add ground paste to the cooked dal and mango and allow to boil for 5 minutes in low flame ..
Check the salt ..
Then heat oil and season with mustard seeds,dry red chilli and curry leaves ..
Pour this seasoning to the curry .. Mix well ..close the curry for few minutes b4 serving ..
Goes well with rice ..
Its very easy and tasty curry …

Tried this today, sorry to say the taste is not good. If we add some cumin seeds while grinding coconut might be a better taste.
